1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Canvix.io, the Canvix account area, the browser-based image editor, AI tools, web tools, uploads, saved designs, templates, exports, credit packs, subscriptions, and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, using the Service, purchasing credits or a subscription, or accessing any Canvix tool, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You may use Canvix only if you can legally enter into a binding agreement and are at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires a higher minimum age for online services. If you use Canvix on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. What Canvix provides
Canvix provides online creative tools that may include:
- a canvas-based image and design editor with templates, layers, text, shapes, drawing tools, effects, filters, cropping, resizing, uploads, and saved projects;
- export options such as JPG, PNG, transparent PNG, WebP, PDF, and other supported formats;
- AI image generation, AI image editing, image-to-image tools, background removal, image upscaling, image splitting/layering, cartoon/style tools, AI video generation, motion/audio tools, and related AI features;
- web utilities including image converters, PDF tools, developer tools, SEO tools, and YouTube-related helper tools;
- third-party content integrations or helpers, such as public image URL import, Pixabay search, YouTube thumbnail import/preview, and browser-extension image URL import, where available.
We may add, remove, rename, limit, update, or discontinue tools at any time. Some features may require login, credits, an active plan, or additional verification.
4. Pricing, subscriptions, credits, and billing
Current prices are not hardcoded in these Terms. Current active plans, subscription prices, included credits, credit packs, and available features are shown on the Pricing page and inside your account billing area at the time of purchase. If there is a difference between older marketing copy and the live checkout/account billing page, the live checkout/account billing page controls for that purchase.
- Subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from your account billing area or by contacting us. When you cancel, access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.
- Credit packs. Credit packs are one-time purchases that add paid credits to your account. Paid credits are used for supported Canvix tools and generally do not expire while your account remains active and in good standing.
- Monthly credits. Free or subscription monthly credits may reset at the end of the billing period and do not roll over unless the Pricing page or your billing area explicitly says otherwise.
- Credit usage order. Where supported by the system, monthly/subscription credits are used first, then paid top-up credits.
- Tool costs. Credit costs can vary by tool, model, quality, duration, resolution, or usage type. The amount shown in the app at the time of use controls.
- Failed generations. If an AI generation or tool run fails and no usable output is produced because of a Canvix-side or provider-side technical failure, credits should not be spent or should be restored where the system detects the failure. If you believe credits were deducted incorrectly, contact support.
- No cash value. Credits are a limited licence to use supported Canvix features. They are not money, stored value, gift cards, or a cash equivalent, and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash except where required by law.
- Payment processors. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or any other provider shown at checkout. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers on Canvix servers.

5. Refunds and cancellations
Canvix offers a 30-day refund window for eligible purchases. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Refunds may be refused, reduced, or handled differently where there is abuse, fraud, policy violation, excessive use, chargeback misuse, or where applicable law requires another result. 6. Your content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of content you upload, import, create, generate, save, or export using Canvix, subject to any rights belonging to third parties. By using Canvix, you grant us a limited licence to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and modify your content only as needed to operate the Service, provide the tool you requested, store your projects, process AI/tool requests, provide downloads/previews, keep the Service secure, and comply with law.
You are responsible for making sure you have all rights, permissions, consents, licences, releases, and authority needed for any content you upload, import, edit, generate, download, share, publish, or use commercially.
7. Third-party assets, URLs, Pixabay, and YouTube thumbnails
Canvix may provide features that help you search, preview, import, or edit third-party material, including image URLs, Pixabay images, YouTube thumbnails, templates, fonts, icons, and other media. These features do not guarantee that you have permission to use the material.
- Image URL import. Only import images that you own, created yourself, are licensed to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to edit and export.
- Pixabay and stock sources. You must review and follow the applicable third-party licence terms, including restrictions around trademarks, logos, recognisable people, sensitive uses, and model/property releases.
- YouTube thumbnails and YouTube tools. YouTube-related tools are intended for lawful preview, analysis, extraction of publicly available metadata, or editing of material where you have rights or permission. Do not copy, re-upload, sell, or commercially exploit another creator's thumbnail or content without permission.
- Brands, logos, characters, and celebrities. Do not use Canvix to misuse trademarks, copyrighted characters, celebrity/public figure likenesses, or brand assets unless you have the required rights.

8. AI tools and generated outputs
AI tools may produce unexpected, inaccurate, offensive, infringing, incomplete, or low-quality outputs. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using, publishing, sharing, or selling them. We do not guarantee that AI outputs are unique, protectable, non-infringing, suitable for commercial use, or free from third-party rights.
AI tools may use third-party AI, hosting, storage, and processing providers. Your prompts, images, videos, audio, masks, reference files, and generated outputs may be processed by those providers to deliver the requested feature. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
You must follow the Acceptable Use & AI Safety Policy when using AI tools.
9. Prohibited uses
You must not use Canvix to create, upload, import, edit, generate, publish, share, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, sexually exploitative, hateful, violent, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited by our Acceptable Use & AI Safety Policy. We may block prompts, refuse tool runs, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or deny refunds where the Service is abused or used in violation of policy.
10. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies, local storage, analytics, referral cookies, and similar technologies may be used.
11. Availability, changes, and beta features
We try to keep Canvix available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. AI providers, payment processors, storage services, browsers, APIs, and third-party platforms may change or fail. Some tools may be experimental, beta, rate-limited, or temporarily unavailable.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, abused the Service, created legal or payment risk, infringed rights, attempted to bypass limits, performed scraping or automated abuse, initiated fraudulent payments, or created security risk. You may stop using Canvix at any time and may request account deletion through support.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free results. We are not responsible for business losses, lost profits, lost data, reputational harm, indirect damages, or consequential damages arising from your use of Canvix, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer laws.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Canvix after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
