This policy applies to all Canvix tools, including AI image generation, AI editing, background removal, upscaling, image-to-video, video generation, audio/motion tools, URL imports, uploads, saved templates and exports.

1. Purpose

Canvix is designed for lawful creative work. This Acceptable Use & AI Safety Policy explains what is not allowed and how we may respond to unsafe, abusive, deceptive, illegal, or infringing use.

2. General rules

You must not use Canvix to create, upload, import, edit, generate, export, share, or distribute content that:

  • is illegal or promotes illegal activity;
  • infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, trade secrets, or other rights;
  • contains malware, phishing, scams, fraud, credential theft, deceptive monetisation, or impersonation;
  • harasses, threatens, doxes, abuses, exploits, or endangers people;
  • is designed to mislead people about identity, origin, sponsorship, evidence, news, politics, public safety, or emergency information;
  • violates payment processor, hosting, AI provider, or platform rules that apply to Canvix.

3. Prohibited AI content and conduct

You must not use Canvix AI tools for:

  • Sexual exploitation or minors: sexual content involving minors, age-ambiguous people, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexualised deepfakes, or exploitative content.
  • Non-consensual likeness or impersonation: deceptive use of real people, celebrities, public figures, private persons, employees, creators, or brands without required permission.
  • Adult/NSFW content: pornography or explicit sexual content, especially where prohibited by payment, hosting, or AI provider rules.
  • Hate and harassment: hateful, demeaning, or threatening content targeting protected characteristics or vulnerable groups.
  • Violence and extremism: graphic violence, instructions for weapons or harm, terrorist/extremist propaganda, or praise/support for violent organisations.
  • Self-harm: instructions, encouragement, or glorification of suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders.
  • Illegal or regulated goods: content promoting illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, evasion, fraud, regulated financial products, gambling, or other restricted products/services.
  • Medical, legal, or financial deception: content presented as professional advice, diagnosis, certification, endorsement, or guaranteed outcome where that would be misleading or unsafe.
  • IP misuse: unauthorised use of copyrighted characters, game/movie assets, logos, trademarked products, brand identities, or another creator's thumbnails/designs.

4. Third-party content and imported media

You may only upload, import, edit, generate from, or export content that you own, created yourself, are licensed to use, or are legally allowed to use. This applies to images pasted by URL, YouTube thumbnails, Pixabay or stock images, screenshots, logos, product photos, fonts, videos, audio, and reference images.

Canvix tools do not grant you rights to third-party content. You are responsible for checking licences, permissions, model/property releases, platform rules, and commercial-use restrictions.

5. Technical abuse

You must not scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass credit limits, abuse free credits, create fake accounts, share accounts to avoid limits, interfere with security, access non-public APIs without permission, or use automated systems in a way that harms Canvix or other users.

6. Moderation and enforcement

We may use automated and manual systems to detect, block, review, remove, or report content and activity that appears to violate this policy. We may refuse prompts, block tool runs, remove outputs, limit features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, preserve records, report serious abuse, or deny refunds where the Service is misused.

7. Appeals and mistakes

If you believe content or an account was restricted by mistake, contact us with your account email, relevant project/job information, and a short explanation. We may review at our discretion.

8. Contact

Report abuse or policy issues through the Contact page or email [email protected].
